• 37 years experience as owner, operator and captain of boats up to 85 feet.
• Made trips as long as 60 days out at sea
• Rebuilt and changed out engines including Caterpillar, GM, Cummins, Perkens, and Power Plants
• Spliced cables and rope
• Welding and fiber glass experience
• Performed oil and fluid changes
• Did general maintenance, change outs, and rebuilds on boats mechanics, gear, and aesthetics including but not limited to generators, alternators, wiring, exhaust systems, wheels, shafts, water pumps etc.
• Have managed crews up to four.
• Packed stuffing boxes
• Maintained an extremely clean engine room and strainers
• Extensive experience with Radars, Wind Plot System, and Loran Navigation Systems
• Experience running boats through inclement weather
