-Maintain and operate the jacking system and ensure that equal leg load distribution is maintained at all times.
-Assist rig move master during rig moves, maintains proper ballast, operate jacking controls and monitor preloading operations and ensure that rig is stable and safe before rig operations commence
-Perform load calculations to ensure that the rig is maintained in a stable condition at all times and advise the rig foreman if a possible overload condition could occur.

-To ensure safe, reliable and efficient management of the port operations.
-Checks and observes on ongoing basis, in accordance with daily instructions, the proper functioning of assigned equipment and record findings on a log sheets, identifying the equipment, the activities and time and date of occurrence.
-Inform the Port Master and shift superintendent for any unusual observations, such as spillage, critical situation during LNG Tanker berthing, loading and un-berthing operations
-Check the presence and proper conditions of all safety and fire equipment at jetty area, verifying the ideal conditions and reporting the findings.
-Takes and records as required variety of readings such as mooring rope tension, approach system and LNG Tanker stability while loading.
