Successfully managed clients with diagnosis such as anemia, renal failure, TIA/stroke, alcohol withdrawal, COPD, cancers, HIV/AIDS, TB, cardiac arrhythmia, Alzheimer’s Disease, GI bleed, diabetes, MS, joint replacement, sepsis, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, amputation, colostomy, urostomy, tracheostomy, and fistula’s. Also successfully administered TPN, blood transfusions, IV fluids/medications, PCA, peritoneal dialysis, NG tubes, wound vacs, decentralized cardiac monitors, and feeding pumps. Have been trained in cardiac monitoring and cardiac intervention. Successfully monitor and pulled cardiac sheath and monitor, teach, and discharged patients from the unit after the procedure. I have also had experience with front office duties. As a nurse, one has to wear many hats in the work area to make everything run smoothly.
