Skils

Manage all machine shop functions and personnel. Manage business portion of shop/procurement/selling/distribution.

I am an intensely organized person who likes and maintains a shipshape facility. This is not only beneficial to productivity, but for safety and good morale.

I am a self motivated individual who loves a new challenge and am not afraid to tackle it alone. Likewise, I am not afraid to assemble a team if that is what is in order to get the best result. As is evidenced in this resume, I am not afraid to seek out new levels of education at a stage in life when some would consider retirement. I am always open to new and exciting ventures. We only stop learning and sharing when we breath our last.

You will notice that at present I am engaged in course work for my license as a maritime officer. I have sacrificed a good portion of my IRA as well as student loans toward this end. It would be in my best interest to finish this goal.

That said, the economic reality may prove otherwise. If you should happen to find me an appealing candidate, I would consider an alternative route should I match with a need.

I am married to a peach of a gal from Wisconsin and we have three wonderful daughters. We will celebrate 28 years this June. Our girls are 22,19,16.

I enjoy antique automobiles, builing things that others say can't be done, and reading the exploits of Clive Cussler and all things maritime.
