Get on my first job as ALST and once funds are available, I would like to enroll in a Diver Medic and Hyperbaric Chamber Technician courses in the Commercial Diving Academy in Florida, USA.

• Routinely reported to the section head of the docking facility section for directives and daily work plan. Prepares requisitions for materials used in diving operations, medical supplies for divers use only, equipment maintenance/servicing and air fills.
• Discussed and explained to section personnel and contractors during morning toolbox meetings the safety precautions needed in certain activities of the day.
• Coordinated with the dock master and docking supervisors to organize and plan docking and diving operations. Contributed in risk analysis involved in each diving operation, planning emergency procedures and contingencies. • Underwater monitoring of divers' condition as they performed tasks. Initiated rescue and emergency procedures to assist divers in distress. Applied necessary care prior to endorsement of victim to HSE officers for continuity of care or evacuation to a hospital if necessary. Implemented contingency plan to complete the task abandoned by the distressed diver or victim.
• Presented technical reports to identify hazards and proposed measures to modify existing protocols which were subject to deliberation among HSE officers, and yard manager.
• Daily participation in the position shifting of undermanned vessels along the quays of the shipyard which are mostly ROV/diving/support vessels. Hands-on experience in mooring and unmooring, rigging/signaling in crane lifting of gangways, cages, tire fenders, lifeboats, anchors and chain.

Skils
• Can provide medical care for any non-emergency situations. Can administer first-aid treatment and life-support care to sick or injured persons/employees in pre-hospital setting. Can perform triaging, spinal immobilization, suturing, cauterizing wound, wound care, dressing changes, splinting, oxygenation, nebulization, catheterization, enemas, suctioning, basic and advanced life support, enteral feedings, blood glucose monitoring, taking vital signs, IV therapy, drug administration, and proper positioning of patients.
• As Assistant Life support Technician, can carry out tasks with supervision during pressurizations, decompressions, and therapeutic recompression treatments for saturation divers. Familiar to structure, operation and function of pressurization valves, exhaust valves, crossover systems in depth gauge connections, oxygen analyzer, BIBS / BIBS dumps, medical / equipment locks, transfer locks, and environmental control units (ECUs). Knowledge in gas mixing, gas handling, chamber communication, chamber hygiene, transfers under pressure, and emergency procedures in the event of chamber fire, pressure loss, failure of ECUs, etc.
• Repetitive, no-decompression air diving with the use of open circuit scuba in multi-level profiles, different marine environments such as caves, walls, reef slopes, wrecks, murky bottoms and in varying conditions i.e. presence of strong current, poor visibility as low as 1 meter, surface activity / hazards, night dives, and deep dives.
• Maintenance and repair of scuba equipments.
• Adept in Microsoft Office Word 2007, Microsoft Office Powerpoint, Microsoft Office Publisher, Microsoft Office Excel. Can type 45wpm.
• Cost accounting and understanding financial statements.
• Can install residential electrical systems. Can thread and fit pipes.
