Most relevant experience acquired in the United States Navy 1983-1989 Hull Maintenance Technician- Maintenance on nuclear powered submarines attatched to submarine tender USS DIXON AS-37. Upkeep and maintenance of fire-fighting systems,engineroom and boiler equipment,plumbing and piping systems welding , brazing,to x-ray standards. Inport Fire Party Scene Leader, Underway Flying Squad Scene Leader responsible for training and supervising fire-fighting personnel in use of SCBA,main space entry procedures,Gas-Free Engineer,Sounding and Security Watches, Damage Control Central watches monitoring all shipboard alarms,Flight Quarter Scene Leader for emergency helicopter evacuations, trained in use of Thermal Imager for rescue of personnel in smoke filled spaces,line handling, underway watches, bridge lookout,man overboard drills,general quarters,hazmat spills , Reaction Force Security Member for Nuclear Weapons
