Experience


EXPERIENCE M.C. Tugs January 2007 to Present

Employed as Captain,

Responsible for navigating and maintaining the 10 ton tug, Renegade.

Assists the 320 ft., 1600 ton Surfside Princess from dis-embarking Port Canaveral.

Escorts the vessel through port, assisting vessel back to berth

Maintains engine room including fueling, oil and filter changes, batteries, and coolant system.

Maintains exterior appearance.



Martha’s Vineyard Ferry DBA SunCruz Ferry January 2009 to March 2009

Employed as First Mate,

Responsible for navigating 110 ft ferry, Ensured passenger and crew safety.

Assisted captain with navigation, radar, gps, and dockage along Surfside Princess.

Instructed/Tested crew on all safety issues including fire systems, life rafts, man- overboard drills, Jacobs Ladder, and passenger well-being.



Surfside Princess October 2008 to December 2008

Observed Captains in their duties, entering and exiting Port Canaveral, to accrue time for pilot endorsement and tonnage, including areas in the bridge and deckhand du



Petchem Tug May 2008 to July 2008

Deck Hand,

Responsible for fastening tugs’ lines to ships and subs for maneuvering around the port.
