Experience
I served four years in the United States Navy from 1998 to 2002. I served as a Quartermaster aboard the USS Ross (DDG 71) from January 1999 until June 2002. While aboard, I performed such duties as ocean navigation (using nautical charts and GPS), maintained the ships log, security watches both on the ship and on the pier, painting, and general cleanliness of work space.
Education
I graduated from Charles E. Gorton High School in June 1998. From there I received 3 and 1/2 months of USN basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes IL. When basic training was over, I was transferred to Naval Training Command Great Lakes IL where I received two months Quartermaster "A" School before reporting to the USS Ross in Norfolk VA. After coming home from the Navy in 2002, I went on and off to Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry NY majoring in Film Studies.
