DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
1. As Assistant Executive Engineer from April 2003 to Date
I transferred to Grid Construction Sub Division Mandi Gobindgarh in April 2003 As Incharge Sub-Division. I am responsible for Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 220 KV,132 KV,66KV Grid Substation and related works like; Erection of Power Transformer, Brakers. CT’s,PT’s,Capacitor Unit, Control & Relay Panels, Laying of Control Cables, Laying of Power Cables ,LT Cables ,Stringing and Sagging of over head conductor and erection of tower etc.
2. As Assistant Executive Engineer from April 2002 to April 2003
I was posted at Punjab State Electricity Board, Patiala, Punjab and was attached with Director Billing. My duties were assist the Director in Maintaining the Billing of Electrical Consumption of the State, to Collect data and compilation regarding Electricity duty etc.
3. As Sub Division Engineer(Electrical) /Assistant Executive Engineer from June 2000 to April 2002
Since June 2000, I am posted as a Sub Division Engineer (Electrical) in Punjab Small Scale Industries and Export Corporation, Chandigarh on deputation basis. There is my responsibilities are to execute the electrical work in the development of Industrial Focal Point ,Installation of Sub-Station ,Erection of street Lights, and 11 KV lines, laying of Power Cables. LT Cables, Installation of Generating Sets, Internal Wiring in Buildings for Lighting and Installation of Air Conditioner and Fire Fighting Equipments etc. I got promoted as Assistant Executive Engineer in November, 2001 and I remained posted at same place and my job responsibilities were same as sub Divisional Engineer.
4)As Assistant Engineer (Electrical) from November 1996 to June 2000
I competed my A.M.I.E (Associated Member of Institution of Engineers) from Institution of Engineer (India), Calcutta –a Bachelor Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering, equivalent to Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) formal degree. I was promoted as an Assistant Engineer (Electrical) on 20.11.1996 and posted at Punjab State Electricity Board, Sukhrampur, Ropar as Divisional Officer. I was given independent charge of sub division . There my duties and responsibilities were the maintenance of 11 kv lines. LT lines, Laying of underground power cables and LT cables , connections etc, I was transferred on 04.11.1999 to Transmission Construction Sub Division (TLSC) Faridkot, Punjab. There my responsibilities were the construction of Transmission Line of 66kv. 13kv and 220 kv lines- including Civil Work Stubbing of Towers ,Stinging and Sagging of Overhead Conductor etc.
5. AS Junior engineer(Electrical) from Jan 1982 to Nov 1996
I got promotion as a Junior Engineer (Electrical) on 28.01.1882 and posted as Junior Engineer (Electrical) in Grid Construction Division , Punjab State Electricity Board , Patiala, There were my responsibility were Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 220 KV,132 KV,66KV Grid Substation and related works like; Erection of Power Transformer, Brakers. CT’s,PT’s,Capacitor Unit, Control & Relay Panels, Laying of Control Cables, Laying of Power Cables ,LT Cables ,Stringing and Sagging of over head conductor and erection of tower etc.
6. AS Sub Station Attendant, From Dec 1977 to Jan 1982
After Passing three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering (With Honours) securing 71.90 marks from State Technical Education Board I got a job offer from Punjab State Electricity Board as a Sub-Station Attendant. I joined duty on 16.12.1977 at 66KV Sub-Station Talwandi Sabo, District Bathinda, Punjab in the Sub Station my duties were to; to operate the Power Transformer and Switch Gear, LT & HT Breakers, Control Relay Panels, Isolator etc.
ON 10.08.1978, I was transferred to Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant Bathinda, Punjab. In the thermal Plant my primarily duties were to operate auxiliary supply and control panels related to 4 ? 110 MVA Thermal Plants i.e. supply to coal Mills, Boiler Feed Pump, Ash Handling Plants,U.C.B. AND M.C.C. etc.

1)Completing ASSOCIATE MEMBER OF INSITUTION OF ENGINEERS, INDIA. (A.M.I.E) Equivalent to B-TECH (Electrical Engg.)from THE INST. OF ENGINEERS CALCUTTA, (INDIA) in 1987.
