Objective
I am an Aerospace engineering graduate who is keen to find a position as an engineer. I am a reliable, hardworking, quick-learner and meticulous individual. Have worked in the aircraft industry and spent some time in a busy international airport and gained a good
understanding of what is required of an engineer.
I have the ability to demonstrate structural compliance to FAR parts
23, 25 and EASA part 66. Experienced with composite structures
fabrication, bonded and bolted assemblies and have an awareness of
assembly tooling methods. Able to work in an aggressive team
environment, demonstrating exceptional communication skills on
technical issues. I'm quite knowledgeable in standard and
international engineering procedures. I possess analytical, design and problem-solving skills.
Experience
EMPLOYMENT:
September 2003- Apr 2005:
BMW Group, Plant Oxford, Oxford, Oxfordshire
Warehouseman
Responsible for data entry/retrieval on a Windows database, as well as
production scheduling.
Duties include the shearing of copper-clad laminate for printed circuit boards.
Occasional supervision of up to six employees in stocking, inventory
control and forklift operation for truck loading and unloading.
April 2005-Present
AKKI Aviation Services
I have worked on HARTZELL, McCauley & SENSENICH propellers. I have
also gained skills in pressure-testing hoses and pipes using hydraulic
fluid under pressures of at least 500PSI using NIKE equipment and
recorded results, translating technical drawings and manuals not
originally written in English e.g. French, Russian. Got wide knowledge
of Non-Destructive Testing methods e.g. Dye-Penetrant, ultrasonic and
optical holography, and their particular application to aircraft in
service. I obtained good experience in carrying out modifications on
all CIRRUS aircraft models speedily and accurately as well as on
wooden, fabric and laminate structures found on APR/SAB ROBIN models.
I am also able assist aircraft operators with flight operations
support activities like line riding, flight audits and customized
flight crew presentations. I have produced videos and familiarization
booklets for each engine/airframe combination presently in our
service. Additionally, AKKI has developed an awareness presentation
program about in-flight shutdown (IFSD) prevention. This provides
crews with important information on cockpit procedures that are
designed to reduce the potential for IFSDs.
My theoretical skills made me responsible for providing material
selection, testing, manufacturing process development and design
support in the screening and selection of advanced materials
(composite prepregs, resins, fibers, adhesives, surfacing films) and
manufacturing processes through cost/benefit analyses.
I am able to provide detail analysis activity conducted in the area of
aircraft power plant integration, propulsion installation and systems
integration including engines e.g. Lycoming, Rolls Royce Continental, PT6,
PW150 electronic control systems annunciations, nacelle integration, engine
and inlet de-icing systems, fuel systems and mounting systems.
I have also had to evaluate work processes to determine strategies and
programs which provide greater quality of company products and
functions as well as setting up audit schedules for areas of
manufacturing to ensure all Quality documentation is being followed
and standardization of inspection processes and tooling.
