Objective


Return to sea on an unlimited vessel to get recent time that will allow me to aquire my 3rd's Oceans Unlimited.


Experience


Feb. 2005 to Jan. 2009 APM Terminals, Charleston, SC. Marine Superintendent. Plan, Oversee and Manage the cargo operations for the container vessels of Maersk and its affiliates; Liason between ship and shore; Troubleshoot and correct problems before they appear; Maintain OSHA and APMT safety standards.

Aug. 2003 to Dec. 2004 Harvey Gulf International. Lead AB Deck. Head up deck operations aboard Supply Vessel servicing the Oil Rigs in the Gulf of Mexico plus normal AB duties and Watchstanding.

Nov. 1988 to Aug. 2003 Seafarer's Int. Union. Various vessel including Container Ships, ROROs, Survey Vessels, Tugs (inland and sea), Cable Layers, Cruise Ships, Private Yachts (sail and power).


Education


Two years at the College of Charleston, prerequisites and general curriculum. Seafarer's Harry Lundeburg School of Seamanship, Upgrades, Sealift and Maintanence.


Certification


AB Unlimited, Sealift Operations and Maintenance, Tanker Assistant/DL, Hazardous Materials, Applied Rigging Pratices, Rescue Boat Operations, Fire Fighting, Personal Survival Techniques, First Aid and CPR, Horizontal Lifelines, Safety and Quality Management, Personal Safety and Social Responsibility, Supervisor management Safety Training, Level 1 Antiterrorism and Small Arms.
