Work on tugboats, perferably on the East Coast. Would like to work alongside veteran tankermen, and to then do the job myself.

Able Body Seaman
• Work aboard oil tankers, bringing oil from Valdez, AK to the West Coast.
• Experience in working aloft, navigation, watch standing, helmsmanship, docking and undocking of 180,000 + DWT vessels, Tanker Assist including lining up pipelines and gauging tanks, , taking on and securing stores, greasing winches, gangways, cranes ect. , setting mooring lines, splicing lines and wires, painting, pneumatic chipping and grinding, heavy-duty winch operation, changing strainers, sandblasting, fire and lifeboat drills, taking tugboat lines, and shipboard security and sanitary duties. Have worked for a company for years that recently reached 10 million man hours without a lost time injury, used to and comfortable with getting the job done efficiently and safely

I may have no tug experience, but have lots of seatime on deck of tankers, and am familiar with the proceedures for loading/discharging Dangerous Liquids. I'm young and I work hard. A new position that would challenge me is exactly what I am looking for.
