Biometric Automated Toolset Manager/Supervisor

Sept 2008-Feb 2011, Basra Iraq:

• Trained and supervised over 30 enrollers on the proper use of the portable Minnie server. Proper procedure for start-up/shut down preventive maintenance and trouble shooting.

• Coordinate with property book authority TPE to ensure that all equipment is correctly maintained in the TPE system.

• Primary trainer of over 100 CSA’s on the hardware and software level which BIOS configuration, graphic/sound care, different types of PCI, printers, CPU’s CAT 5 cable.

• Perform system and security administration, network connectivity configuration, database administration, equipment maintenance, systems documentation, and resolving customer issues.

• Maintain Dell 2950/1950 server sets, Panasonic CF-73/74 notebooks, PIER iris scanning devices, CrossMatch fingerprint readers, and multiple cameras.

• Provide support for both the Biometrics Automated Toolset (BAT) and Biometric Identification System for Access (BISA) systems.

• Utilize biometric information to locate Persons of Interest. Perform biometric enrollments at designated ports of entry.

• Capture biometrics utilizing facial recognition, iris and fingerprint scanners.

• Troubleshoot BAT laptops and peripherals to include, printers, scanners and digital cameras, iris capturing device, ensuring 100% availability of equipment to support US and coalition customer in support of war on terrorism.

United States Navy 2003-2006:

• Selected for duty as Engineering Instructor at Great Lakes, Training School Command (TSC), to execute quality curriculum to navel engineers, instruct students on proper safety, PPE, arc welding, brazing welding and blue print reading.

• Instructed over 400 sailors’ annually on ship board firefighting equipment, CO2, PKP, Halon 1301, Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) portable and fixed agents.

• Trained more the 40 Army, Navy, and Marine Corps officers on the proper use of the four gas analyzer used to detect deadly gases: Oxygen (O2), Hydrocarbon (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S).
