Experience


2006-2010 Seasonal Commercial Salmon Fisherman Alaska

~ Live aboard position with a four man crew averaging ten to twelve hour days and at sea for up to two months.

~ Manipulated heavy equipment for salmon fishing.

~ Performed routine engine maintenance.

~ Worked as a team to do whatever job needed to be done aboard the vessel whether it be cooking, washing down, cleaning, behind the wheel, etc.

~ Daily log of vessel maintenance and tides.

~ Worked on the vessel "Rockin" with Captain Pete Rockness.

2005-2008 Crew/Commercial Diver Puerto Rico

~ Responsible to participate in all aspects of the diving operations on a fish harvesting vessel.

~ Working as a team with a six to ten person crew daily.

~ Implementing a safety dive plan foe each dive.

~ Maintaining daily log on board vessel.

~ Harvesting fish one mile off shore and processing fish according to sanitation guidelines once aboard the vessel.

~ Participating in up to three dives a day.

~ Responsible for cleaning, maintenace and repair of all diving and harvesting equipment.

~ Thorough wash down of the vessel daily.

~ Proper handling, packaging and shipping of harvested fish according to customer instructions.

~ Snapperfarm, Inc under Capt. Barry Drexler

2008-Present Self-Employed Water Charter and Taxi PR

~ Own and operating a self run water taxi and charter business off the island of Culebra in Puerto Rico.

~ Responsible for up to six people on a 20' center console. Services include sightseeing tours to neighboring islands, water taxi to boats and beaches and charters for small groups.

~ Have chartered for researchers from the University of PR.

~ Perform daily required maintenance of my boat and engine.

~ In charge of all aspects of this business such as advertising, public relations, accounting and all manual labor duties.

2009 Yachting Vessel "Miracle" Captain Tony Goodwin

~ Crew aboard a yacht for three weeks.

~ Delivery of a yacht from Ft. Lauderdale to St. Maarten.

~ Responsible for night watches.

~ Keeping the vessel clean.

~ Crossings of up to 6-8 days.

~ Responsible for driving the tender. Docking procedures, etc.
