5 years experience as a mariner. Worked as a deckhand/oiler in the US Tuna Fishing Industry in the South Pacific, hauling nets, fish handling on deck and working in the engine room. Worked as a deckhand in the offshore towing industry in the Gulf of Mexico and Puerto Rico, making tow, breaking tow and rigging up in push gear on offshore tugs and barges. Worked on an anchor handling boat and OSV’s in the offshore oil industry in the Gulf of Mexico as a deckhand / rigger, maintaining deck equipment, preservation and cleanliness of ship. Bilingual, fluent in English and Portuguese.
