Objective
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to work onboard any vessel as an A/B,O/S or Deck Cadet; so that i can be able to finance my OOW course of study in any maritime college.
With me, i possessed the MCA Notice of Eligibility, to sit for the MCA oral exams for a Certificate of Competency(Deck Officer).

Experience
I have worked onboard two product tanker vessels of the same company.
1st. vessel is M.T Toufik Massry, as a Deck Cadet and then to A/B position from 2001 to 2003.
2nd. vessel was M.T Jamal Massry, as an Able Body Seaman, from 2003 to 2005.
I was resposible for keeping watch as Look Out, weelman and assisting on deck operations.
I was also resposible for preparing the rescue boat to be launch incase of man over board,and also mounting bouwsing in tackle,releasing tracing pendant and slaging notted life line in case of Abandon Ship.
I was also resposible for donning the Fireman Outfit incase of Fire.Also resposible for assisting as required incase of Oil spill.
Education
I attended The Gambia Senior Secondary School and I sat to the West African Senior School Certificate Examination and got credits in three subjets and four passes.
I further went to The Gambia Maritime Training Institute as a part-time trainee and obtained the following certificates:

i. Fire fighting and Fire prevention certificate,
ii.First Aid at Sea,
iii.Personal Survival at Sea,
iv. National Rating Certificate Level iii.
v. Certificate of Competency.
vi. Seamans Record and Certificate of Discharge

Skils
I have fire fighting skills,abandon ship, manoverboard and oil spill and also attending to drills onboard.
