AB / CRANE OPERATOR : Work under the Chief Mate to maintain the exterior/interior of the ship and ensure the deck department is kept to the highest industry standard. Report and follow directions of the Chief mate, and 2nd mate with navigating the vessel in a safe and professional manner; Carry out deck maintenance under the direction of the Chief Mate/ Buson; Stand Fire/Radio watch when Helicopter operations are in use and perform monthly safety inspections. Operate the cranes in a safe manner and in accordance with the crane manufacturer’s operating instructions at all times. Progress the work scope as directed in accordance with the relevant Task Plans and Procedures. Inspects all lifting equipment prior to use and ensures that lifted loads are clear of obstructions, slung correctly and properly secured with tag lines. Assist the Deck Foreman or his/her deputy as directed. Ensure that all communications are effective and clear. Maintain a high level of regard to all good working practices.

RIGGER : Responsible for working in conjunction with the Crane Operator and Welder using cable and Slings to move and relocate structural materials, build as well as dismantle scaffolds, the safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally compliant operation of assigned area, and performs general labor work such as loading and unloading material to supply boat and barges.
