My name is Rade Jekic. I’m from Split, Croatia and I'm 34 years old.
I have long experience at sea as AB Seaman.
From 2006 to 2011 I’ve been working on board MSC Crociere.
I have also 5 years of experience as AB aboard Jadrolinija Passenger Ferry in Croatia.
I had varied roles on passenger ships - Assisting in the navigation when under way, Helping in Maneuvering, Watch-standing, Correct maintenance of vessel & deck equipment, Varnishing, Painting Cleaning and polishing the exterior of the ship.
On passenger ferries I had some additional duties- to assist for the safe Embarkation/Disembarkation of passengers, motors, cars and trucks.
I would describe myself as hard working, responsible, adaptable, creative and open to new ideas and changes, positive and outgoing with a good sense of humor. I like my job and I am great team player with a professional attitude and spirit. Good organized, flexible and level-headed, have the ability to work underway whilst in varying sea conditions.
