Objective
Obtain a position as a deckhand abroad a vessel in the Gulf of Mexico. Optimize my skill, hard driven performance and keen sense of progress to complete any job or task assigned.
Experience
I was an AB with the Houston Pilots Association for four years. October 2003- June 2008. Tasks included all deck general, maintainance , housekeeping, cooking etc... Have worked for ILA 20 since November 2000. Responsibilities include loading and disembarking cargo from numerous vessels while at berth.( Longshoreman)
Education
High School Diploma. (Ball High School 2000) Galveston College 2 year General Studies, Sam Houston State University 65 hrs. Houston Marine, Delgado Maritime Training.
Certification
AB certification. Rules of the Road, Deck Safety, Deck General and Safety, Basic Firefighting, Survival Craft& Rescue, Social Responsibility, Practical Knot Tying, CPR with AED
Skils
