-Machinery Technician: Responsible for minor repairs and daily Preventative Maintainence of small boat engines; basic law enforcement, and search and rescue.
Salty Sams Marina
Sept 2004-May 2007
-Marina operations manager: Strict attention to detail of this world-class marina which provided customers dry storage for their vessels in excess of 45'; 135 wet slips that can accomodate vessels up to 175'. Weekly schedule for all staff of the yard. Insuring this marina operated smoothly and assisting in running the Marine grade fork-lift were part of my daily routine.
Plantation Dive shop
Dec 2007-Current
-Captain of tour vessels conducting snorkel and dive trips around the Crystal River and Kings Bay waterways. Also conducting sightseeing tours as well.
-Responsible for the upkeep and operation of the rental boats including 11 pontoon boats, 7 jon-boats, 4 kayaks, and 4 canoes.
Education
High school graduate with continuation of education through military courses which are college equivalent. The majority of my education has been hands-on with the excellent crews I have had the oppurtunity to work alongside.
Certification
U.S Coast Guard Captain License 50-ton master near coastal License#:2778694
U.S Coast Guard certification to engage in commercial assistance towing.
Skils
-Ability to operate vessels up to 60 feet in length. With great confidence, my ability will be just as professional with excess footage of vessels.
-Wide range operation of marine grade fork-lift including: Marine travel-lift,Taylor,and Wiggins.
-Excellent adherence to saftey as well as simple adaptation to any work environment.
-Management level attitude with a passion to work along side the crew and get my hands dirty.
I own and operate my own fishing boat. I have an extensive knowlegde of both back bay and offshore fishing. I have been on and around boats for the past 20 years and I have no doubts that I will be able to fulfill any requirements.
