Objective
Conduct passage planning and ocean navigation of the designated ship.
Experience
I have been in the Kenya Defence forces for nine years, eight of which I have been working in the Kenya Navy onboard the Kenya Navy ships at various appointments. Current appointment is Navigating Officer onboard Kenya Navy Ship Tana.
Education
I graduated from High school in Kenya and attained a mean grade of B+. I then trained as a Cadet Officer at The Kenya Armed Forces Training College. I underwnt through the Naval Conversion Course for junior Officers, I also undertook a seamanship Officers Course, (inwhich I was extensively trained on Navigation, pilotage, Astronavigation, chartwork, tides, operations and warfare, ship handling, Naval communication, logistics, and the rule of the road)
I also was trained in maritime warfare( Principle Warfare Officers Course)
Currently, I am a fourth year student of Egerton University Studying Bsc Military Science.
