Skils
I hold a USCG issued 3rd Assistant Engineers License for both Steam and Motor vessels of any horsepower. I have knowledge with electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, and most electrical troubleshooting. I am certified by the Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Institute as a Universal Technician and I have excellent general maintenance skills in other systems as well.
I have also worked as a Deckhand for Interlake Steamship Company. I was responsible for unloading cargo, tie-ups and departures from docks and locks and general deck maintenance such as painting and cleaning the vessel.
