• Detroit Diesel Aux generators

• All equiptment relating to normal operations of the vessel.



2007 – 2008 Wisconsin Michigan Steamship Company Cleveland, OH

3rd Assistant Engineer on a self-unloading dry cargo vessel

Responsibilities - To maintain, operate and repair vessel equipment including:

• Twin 2800 HP Medium Speed LDO engines

• Conveyor system for unloading dry cargo

• Unloading boom hydraulic systems

• All equipment relating to normal operations of the vessel

• Single Slow Speed 10,000 HP HFO diesel engine

• Special Project – Rebuild cargo unloading pump

Engine Cadet on a steam tanker

Responsibilities - To learn operation and maintenance of equipment including:

• Twin D-Type boilers producing super-heated steam (automated atomizing steam HFO)

• GE high and low pressure turbines

• GE turbine generators

• Turbine-driven cargo unloading pumps
