2nd Mate on OSV, AHS, FPSO, seismic drillship or similar
Experience
1st Mate, 2nd Mate or 3rd Mate on Great Lakes & Canadian East Coast bulkers and self-unloaders (with discharge capacities 3000-4500 tph) and in DWT range 7000-37000 MT.
2nd Mate Foreign-Going experience on vessel in DWT range 35000 MT. Voyages ranged from East Coast Canada & US to GOM, Northern Europe, South America and St. Lawrence River and Gulf.
Held positions ashore with as Manager, Transportation Services with Canada Steamship Lines Inc., in Montreal.
Also, prior to that as a Vessel Operator with Fednav International.
Have also carried-out short term assignments in cargo surveying - in both dry and liquid bulk commodities.
Education
2nd Mate Foreign-Going (unlimited), (1995) - per Department of Transport, Canada, while in attendance at Institute Maritime du Quebec.
Certificate in Business Programming and Systems Analysis from Concordia University (1987), in Montreal.
Attended Community Colleges Vanier & Dawson for 2 years, following program in Civil-Architectural Design (no diploma)
