2nd Assistant Marine Engineer Officer

Objective


To gain employment as coastal ship going, watch keeping / day working Marine Engineering Officer. I would like to join a company that offers watch keeping or day work engineering opportunities on coastal ships. I am interested in working on any types of ship. Cargo ship in particular, appeal to me for their technical complexity, and the opportunities they present. A company can expect hard work, common sense, honesty, keen observational skills, effective decision making and teamwork from me. I, in turn, would like the company to recognize my hard work and enthusiasm by allowing me to compete for promotions.


Experience


Professionally, the last seven years have been spent on ships with medium and high speed diesel plants, with outputs up to 17,079 KW. This experience is combined with superior academic standings, extensive training, professional attitude and keenest. These ingredients blend well to provide a solid knowledge base for a professional, productive Engineering Officer. Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW); operating and maintaining of the vessel’s machinery. Sailed bulk carrier vessels with installed power up to 17,079 KW. Primarily on medium & high speed diesel plants. Carried out scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance, alterations, repairs and watchkeeping duties. Established an exemplary safety record throughout.
