200 Ton Master upon Near Coastal Waters

Objective


Marine vessel operation and navigation. I have worked on Ships,Supply Vessels,Utility Vessels and in/offshore crew boats from 40' to 135' (double,triple and quad screws). Wanting to find a stable company. A company where crew and management live together with mutual respect.


Experience


1987-1988 OS on the USNS MISSISSENEWA T-AO 144. Ship maintenance and underway refueling span wire operator.

1988-1993 Assoc Branch Bar Pilot Apprentice, Pilotboat operator of the 11 vessel fleet(40' to 90')

1993-2007 La. State Commissioned Bar Pilot, The safe navigation and handling of ships transiting the lower Miss. river

2008-2009 1st & 2nd Captain on Supply & Utility vessels(110' to 170')

2009 Mate for Moran towing. Serviceing the ships on the Miss. river. Docking,Undocking,towing and hold ins.

2009-2010 Captain of 2 130' offshore crew boats. Running production for the platforms, off-load & back-load supplies and personell in most any weather condition.

Shipboard firefighting and damage control w/ basic 1st aid.

Bridge resource management and crisis management

Detroit diesle overall function, trouble shooting and repairs.

Chart plotting and navigation, Sleep,Fatigue and RX certified, La. State Board of Marine Security, Cold water survival.
