Objective


A position of responsibility utilizing my skills as a Boat Captain and/or skills in Mechanics auto and marine, electrical, guest interactions, sales, labor, and management. Capable of working side-by-side men and women with various ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds. Excellent boat-handling capabilities. Good mental stamina to remain alert and calm so as to make sound decisions in a constantly changing environment such as severe weather and ever changing seas.

Responsible for day-to-day operation for three different tour operations for cruise ship passengers. Operated an authentic steam driven paddle wheeler

Responsible for day-to-day operation for tour operation for cruise ship passengers on a 140-mile daily roundtrip tour through the Misty Fjords National Monument.

Responsible for day-to-day operation and safe passage of passengers, onboard a 12 passenger, five-crew overnight, fishing, scuba, and surfing yacht adventure cruise.

Responsible for day-to-day operation and safe passage of passengers, onboard a 12 passenger, five-crew overnight yacht adventure cruise.



2005 Winter Season Captain / Dock Master Key West Hilton Resort and Marina, Key West, Fl

Part time Captain of Private water taxi from Hilton Hotel to Sunset Key, A private residential island. Part time dock master for Hilton marina. Also security for the cruise ship pier.



2004 Summer Season Captain, Alaska Cruises, Ketchikan, Alaska

Tour operation for harbor cruises, and a 140-mile daily roundtrip tour through the Misty Fjords National Monument.



2002 - 2004 Captain, River Jet Tours, Laughlin, Nevada

Responsible for a fun and safe transportation of 34 passengers. On a 134-mile daily roundtrip tour. Via the Colorado River from Laughlin, NV to Lake Havasu City, AZ.



2002 - 2004 Captain, Americana River Rides, LLC, Laughlin, Nevada

Responsible for scheduling Captains, boat maintenance, and passenger safety. Directed and coordinated five water taxies operating between five casinos via the Colorado River.



2002 - 2002 Captain, Anna Maria, Florida

Responsible for the maintenance, care, and safety of various types of vessels from sail to power motor yachts. Implemented programs to insure the safety of personnel and equipment. Planned, budgeted, coordinated, and executed vacations and trips to accommodate a diverse clientele of guests/owners.



2001 – 2002 Ordinary Seaman, American Classic Voyages, New Orleans, Louisiana

Responsible for security, maintenance, fire safety, and various other functions involved in the operation of an American registered 300-foot cruise ship.

Responsible for enforcement of laws promulgated by the state of Texas Commission on Jail Standards.
