Chief Mechanic on the Jack-Up Self Propelled Vessel FM 112 in Maracaibo Lake, Venezuela (Offshore Operations) 5252 GRT.

Responsible for the mechanic department on board. Control of the request purchase order for the spare parts, shutdown items and all needed to perform the maintenances; manage the computer Aided maintenance Management program to keep a good control in all the monthly, quarterly, semiannually and annually jobs to be performed in all the equipments on board, coordinate the annually appraisal for the Chief Engineers and Motorman’s, active participation in safety meetings, tool box meetings, training personnel responsibility. Directly report to the Rig Superintendent and rig Manager

Chief Engineer on the Jack-Up Self Propelled Vessel FM 112 in Maracaibo Lake, Venezuela (Offshore Operations) 5252 GRT.

Function: assist for the management in the preventive and corrective maintenance to all the Drilling equipment (DW: 1250HP, Mud Pump National oil well 8P-8-80, rotary table), generator engines (Cat 3512), propulsion units (Cat 3412) centrifugal pumps, cranes (up to 75Tons), mud system, blow out preventive systems, air and hydraulic winches, air compressors, sewage treatment plant, etc, reporting directly to the Chief Mechanic and the Rig Manager and active participation in safety programs.



Jan. 2000- Jan. 2004 Schlumberger Drilling Services, Venezuela

Second Marine Engineer: Jack-Up Self Propelled Vessel Prisa 110 in Maracaibo Lake, Venezuela (Offshore Operations).

In charge of the operation, preventive and corrective maintenance to all the hydraulic system, generator engines, centrifugal pumps, cranes, mud system, blow out preventive systems, air and hydraulic winches, air compressors, sewage treatment plant and all the drilling equipments, and active participation in safety programs.



1994-2000 PDV Marina, Venezuela.

Second Engineer: M/T Guanoco, M/T Sinamaica, M/T Caripe, M/T Pilín León, M/T Maritza Sayalero.

Responsible for all the mechanical maintenance to the generator engines (Warsilla, water maker, boilers, centrifuges (Fuel-Oil, Gas-Oil, Lubricating-Oil), and emergency equipment. First engineer assistant in the control of the warehouse stock on board. Responsible for the weekly inspection to all the safety equipments on board
