Position: QMED Electrician - 2.5 years
Duties: Electrician duties included troubleshooting and repairing of all types of electrical motors, controllers, lighting, elevators, cranes and winches. Also supervised other electricians and worked with tech reps.
Position: Shipboard Electronic Technician – 4.5 years
Duties: Electronic Technician duties were calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic equipment including but not limited to radars, ECDIS, automated engine room controls (Tano/GE), engine monitoring, elevator controls (cargo/personnel), HVAC controls, cargo transfer systems, motor controllers, automated fire control systems (Automate), PLC and GPS systems.
Position: Third Assistant Engineer – 1 year
Duties:Duties as Third Assistant Engineer included but not limited to engineer in charge of the watch, transferring of fuel, oil and water internal and to/from shore. Repair and maintenance of engine room equipment.
Position: Licensed Engineer - 1.5 years
Engineer onboard GOM OSV's working for Edison Chouest Offshore. Engineer in charge of the watch, transferring dry bulk, water, and fuel. Also second assistant engineer onboard OPSV Adm. Wheeler and National Science Foundation vessel M/V Laurence M. Gould. Engineer in charge of the watch.
Position: Licensed Engineer 1 year
Licensed engineer .5 year on GOM OSV HOS Brimstone. .8 year Second Assistant Engineer on MPSV HOS Achiever, DP3 T21 type diesel electric vessel. Engineer in charge of the watch.
