Skils
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Ship handling including anchor handling, docking & undocking, and back and fill with both single screw vessels and twin screw vessels with bow thruster. Navigation use with ECDIS, radar overlays, radars, ARPA, GPS, Loran C, and charts.
• Drill conducting, controlling problems with crew, taking care of medical problems, responding to emergencies.
• Maintaining safety equipment. Maintaining GMDSS Safety, Deck, Radio, Garbage, and Medical logs. Updating charts to current notice to mariners corrections.
• Securing deck loads, loading vessels, Running gears and cranes, ordering supplies and taking inventories of current supplies. Maintaining GMDSS and conducting daily test.
