Presently Master of a new ATB 525'x78'x27'. 110,000 bbls of #6 Oil From Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. Looking for best pay and benefits. 13 Years with present company but they are not keeping up with present pay scales.
Experience
Over thirty years as Captain on all types of vessels. Last 22 years in the towing industry. Recency in most major ports on the East and Gulf coasts. Experience in Canada, Great Lakes, Mexico, Caribbean, and S. America.
Education
Graduate of Burlington High School, Burl., VT. 1 Year University Of Vermont. South Florida Tech. Sea School. Delgado Community College.
Certification
STCW, Radar, GMDSS, AB Unlimited, First Aid, Fire Fighting. Passport.
Skils
Computer literate, My experience covers most vessels and work in the Towing and Oil industries, Commercial fishing, Ferry boats, ship docking. Power experience in single, twin, and triple screw. Direct drive, diesel electric, Z-Drive
Mechanically inclined. In the early days I operated as Captain and Engineer. I was the the Port Captain for a ferry service in the 80's as well as running a 12 hour aday shift.
