Special Operation Weather Team (Airborne Weather Technician)
Twenty years as Special Operations Weather Team, certified weather observer and forecaster. World wide forecasting experience; trained foreign Special Forces on Limited Weather Observations and Mean Effective Winds. Responsible for observing and forecasting techniques and tactical procedures for five geographically separated units operating with Army Special Forces and 75th Ranger regiment. Maintained skills to deploy with Army Special Forces in permissive and hostile conditions including parachutist and jump master ratings. Completed IG Inspection Course and assisted on Staff Assistance Visits. Performed as lead weather team member provided objective assessments and technical guidance; lauded by AFSOC Inspector General team chief.
