Objective
I would love to work as captain of a sportfishing vessel anything from one day to multiple days preferably southern California but would be willing to work anywhere as long as the fishing is good.
Experience
Worked in southern California for the last 5 years working mainly on privet sportfishing vessels from 30-75ft. I have a lot of tournaments experience, marlin, shark and tuna. Spent a great amount of time offshore fishing. For the last year I have been working in Newport beach C.A. at electra cruises as a captain of a 125ft, 250 passenger vessel used mainly for weddings and parties.
Education
I am currently attending Vanguard University in Newport beach C.A. for their school of business.
I also graduated from the maritime institute in San Diego C.A. with a 100T master mate.
Certification
100T masters near costal license. CPR.
Skils
Very familiar with GPS and radar. Marlin fishing is one specialties. I can tie any kind of rig. I have also spent many years shark fishing; my team holds the current catch and release record for the mako madness tournament in Dana point C.A. I have great vision in low light. Love to fix things from safety gear to electronics and anything in between
I am very passionate about the water. I love to fish for anything that swims in the ocean from bass to marlin. I am a team player and love to build up my team by being the best leader I can. If there is ever a problem I will make the best decision I can, putting my company or my customers before myself. If I have to go that extra mile to satisfy my employer I will with no question for I know the world of the water can be a harsh one. as long as I’m out on the water fishing I am a happy man.
