100 Ton Master

Objective


Obtain a solid position as a 100 Ton Master, with a commercial offshore vessel opperating company.


Experience


Operated recreational diving vessels, from Point Conception to Cortez Bank, including San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, Anacapa, San Nicolas, Santa Barbara, Catalina and San Clemente Islands. (1996-Present)



Operated crew boats for Tidewater Marine (oil platform support service) between Point Conception and Huntington Beach California. Transporting men and materials, to and from platforms. Very familiar with offshore crane operations, safety programs, self inspection programs (S.I.P.), security, and most commercial offshore operations.



Experience in commercial diving and shipboard R.O.V. operations.

Also have extensive welding experience (Ventura Harbor Boat Yard). Welding steel, aluminum and stainless steel on various types of boats including crew boats and supply boats.

100 Ton Captain License Commercial Assistance Towing, Radar Observer Unlimited, S.T.C.W. (5 day), Marine Radio Operator Permit (F.C.C.), T.W.I.C.

M.M.D. (“Z” card) O.S., Wiper, S.D. (F.H.).


Skils


Excellent boat handling skills. Have a good working knowlege of most engine rooms. Have welding experience (steel, aluminum and stainless steel) with most types of boats, including crew boats and supply boats. Also commercial diver.


 


Very computer literate.



4 years active duty (United States Marine Corps 1990-1994).
