Currently have a 100-ton master’s license, AB Special, STCW, TWIC Card, and MMD.

I am Captain of the 42ft charter vessel Fortuna. I take Guests out on my vessel, 1-2 day fishing trips, 7 days a week.

• Duties also include assurance of procedural adherence, Navigation, engine and deck maintenance. Responsible for customer (guests) and crew, in various environments and weather conditions. M/Y WESTPORT 40M Westport WA - Fort Lauderdale FL

Transported a 40m Motor yacht from Westport to Fort Lauderdale, worked as a deckhand and 1st mate.

Duties included 4 hour wheel watches twice a day, Shopping and cooking meals for the rest of the crew and my self. Keeping both the inside and outside of the vessel clean. Routine wash downs and engine room checks, filling out engine room logs and staying on schedule. Mooring the vessel in several different ports along the South America Coast.

Worked as a Deckhand on the C/V Mariner. Worked part time while I was in school then full time during my summer break. I had to find a new job after the boat Burnt down in the winter of 2005 because of an electrical short in the shore power.
