 Present  Assignment:

My present responsibilities as Senior Technical Superintendent ( AGM Grade) in shipping / offshore and in Facilities are  independently looking after evaluation of Hull and Machinery of dry/ wet Cargo OSV/PSV /Barges Vessels, All technical Issues, Statutory  and Class requirement, Supply of Spares / Stores & inspection in terms of specs/quality, class approved, Vessel Inspection, Vessel’s Performance ,Preparing  Dry Dock  Specification (H& M ) & Repair specification (H&M) , Offshore pipe lay Marine spread selection and inspection , Bunker planning , Charter hire preparation for barges and tugs , arranging Marine Warranty Survey for pipe /Jacket transportation and installation ie load out / sail out /sea fastening / offshore attendance for Barge setting . Selection and Inspection of Marine Spread vessels , pre load out inspection etc , shore base monitoring , Monitering Sub sea activity for pipe line installation including commissioning .

1. Vetting Inspection preparation, Co-ordination and Scheduling .

2. Defect rectification,Testing/Tuning, Planned Preventive, condition, Based, Maintenance, and Inventory

control of the Equipment stated below.

3. Lassoing for Hull and  Machinery surveys (Class surveyIRS/ABS/LDS/BV /DNV) including third

partyInsurance  Survey  for Hull & Machinery     

4.  Lassoing for Quality Documentation with Classification society.

5. To  ensure validity of statutory and class certificates of vesselsand organize requiredsurveys within window

period .

6. To ensure  condition of class imposed are removed in time or surveyed for extension.

7. To visit assigned vessels quarterly for assessment of maintenance with Master/Ch.Eng. & over all

performance of  ship.

8. To arrange for preparation of LSA/ LSA and LSS plans of the vessel and follow up within Administration

towards approval.

9. To ensure that vessels are maintained in between surveys & dry dock.   

10. To ensure regular testing of critical and stand by equipments also time to time testing alternate  back

up  arrangements for important systems.

11. To review masters inspection reports and take appropriate corrective action

12. To ensure vessel have required publication codes & charts for safe operation

13. To ensure vessel survey status reports are updated regularly.

14.  To ensure that corrective action on hazardous situation and non conformities  are completed within  required  time.

 Assignments Undertaken:

1. October 2010 till July 2012 PT Punj Lloyd Indonesia / Thailand /India undertaken Class & Statutory

certification for Pipe lay project . Marine Spread monitoring , .Bunker planning , Vessel Pre deployment

inspection , Warranty Survey arrangements , Preparation of Dry Dock specification and excution and

monitering .

2. Marine Spread selection , prepration of charter party agreements , Organising and Selecting repair and

supply vendors .

3. Samson Maritime as Technical Manager    Entrusted me to take delivery of MV Merou from Port of

Norwich (UK). 2006   

4. Refurbished the 2000 ton USC1 Dumb Barge for offshore utility and facility. 2006

5, Undertaken 12000 Mt steel work fabrication and installation of steel liners including cladding work.

6. Installed , Commissioned &, Setting to work, Captive power Plant 6x1. 5 MW DG ABC BELGIUM make

for Krisna Group. 2001

7. Refurbished along with Class Certification for 2500 ton work Barge for Ocean Diving (2000/2001)

8. Taken over the OPV class ship INS SUBHEDRA from Masan Shipyard South Korea. 1990

Deutz and ( ABC Generator  Belgium Make) Volvo Penta

4. A/C Refrigeration plants up to   178 TR*4  (   With  BMS  CONTROL  )

5.  Distilling Plants up to 20-tons/24 hrs.

Approx, manpower handled 60 - 120 skilled/ unskilled

2) Upkeep of logbooks & work schedules, Rendering reports & returns.  Refit  planning & Co-ordination &

with Repair organization. Human Resources Management Development and  Training.

3) Development and Appraisal performance (Appraisal of Personnel) Inventory control of spare parts. 

4)  Planning for timely completion of projects / jobs 

5)  Monitoring of activities at site &simultaneously preparing for target date

6)  Liasoning with customer and Client for timely completion of project/ jobs

7)  Keeping track of all material supplies and shortages well in advance

8)  Vendor assessment before placing order

9)  Constant follow up with vendors/sub vendors by periodic visit at their site

10) Involved in raw material procurement activities which include techno commercial discussions as well.

12) Co-ordination with various departments
