Objective
• By virtue of an extensive experience in implementation and overseeing Electrical Equipment , Power Generation & Distribution System, Supply Network Panels & Switchgears, General Ventilation & Air Conditioning Equipments and all Electrical Motors, Battery maintenance & associated Starters Onboard Ships.
• Independently managing repair and maintenance/ defect rectification of AC/ DC motors and Logic Circuit Control Devices, Boat Davits/ Crane Operating under Electro-Hydraulic Power, Control Circuits of AC and Refrigeration system, Ventilation control system Onboard modem vessels
• Independently responsible for power management and distribution system Onboard Ships.
• Onboard any type of Ship which would allow me to put to effective use my experiences.
Experience
• Joined Navy in Jan 1996 as a sailor in the Electrical Power Branch and retired in Jan 2011 in the rank of Petty Officer Electrical Power.
• 15 years experience in maintenance, operation, installation, including post inspections, planning and executions, installation checks and conducting trials to ensure compliances in accordance with design criteria.
• Responsible for defect analysis, and instant defect rectification.
• Experience in maintenance and defect rectification of HT and LP Switch Boards oil cold and gas filled HT supply breakers, Air circuit breakers, MCCB, MCB, Rectifier and Battery chargers.
• Work experience on engine, Generator load trials, Governor Trials, Switchboards and Machinery control systems, Load banks and their control, Electronic governor control, HT Transformer Reconditioning of oil and acidic test, Break down Voltage Test.
• High frequency convertors, all domestic equipments, galley and kitchen appliances, Power Boats control systems and boat davits control, all type of AC / DC Motors and Starters including soft starters, Electrical control of Air Condition and Refrigeration Plant, Split and Window A/C, AC and DC Crane Auto fire and flood alarms.
• Commissioning of new LP, Submarine Batteries and their maintenance, charging cycles, discharge rate and associated equipments, load trials.
ACHIEVEMENTS
• In recognition of my dedication to duty leading to substantial improvement in the ships overall Electrical Power system, I was awarded commendation by the Flag Officer-In Chief Western Naval Command Mumbai. Copy of the commendation in enclosed.
SKILLS
• Manage a group of workers in fields of electrical systems assist head of big stores , team of installations, judicious decision making power, can work quick learner, can teach new comers, and survive any type of terrain.
• Ability in use and maintenance of small arms like revolvers, pistols, Self Loading Rifles and Carbines etc.
