HR Dynamics is recruiting an experienced Marine Diesel Technician in Vero Beach, FL. The Marine Diesel Technician should have experience working with CAT engine repair as well as CAT ET, and Seakeeper.
This is a full-time, permanent position. There are no fees to any candidate, ever, for our services!
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and adjusts marine diesel engines and Marine Generators as required and completes all paperwork on the troubled equipment to which the individual is required
- Must have computer skills and be able to use them for diagnostics as required
- Attends Training sessions as required
- Works in a neat, orderly, and safe manner, constantly seeking to improve methods and the safety of others
- Helps to maintain shop cleanliness by keeping tools picked up and put away, trash dumped daily
- Maintains a positive attitude and role model for the other employees to follow
- Maintains a minimum set of tools required for job performance
- Helps to maintain company machines/equipment and ensure co-workers are doing the same
- Demonstrates utilization of the organization’s computer systems for work orders and other documentation
- Maintains personal company literature and maintains a high awareness of technical changes in the industry
- Disassembles components and properly cleans parts
- Inspects components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs
- Prepares all timecards, or service reports, as requested by office staff. Ensures they are legible and accurate with enough detail for service accounting needs.
- Must be able to look up parts requests sheets to be turned into the parts manager for ordering parts
- Assist the company in any necessary duties to achieve Company goals
- Monitors, assists, and provides technical assistance for Level l & ll Technicians as needed
*Must have a valid Driver’s License
*Must have a Passport or the ability to obtain a Passport
Hours vary with a mixture of onsite and remote. And who doesn’t love travel!? Traveling inside and outside of the US included!
Salary Ranges from $25-$50/hour, commensurate with experience and industry-specific certifications.
