Head Captain / Dock Manager – Marine Tourism Company

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years in the tourism/marine industry
  
  

• Strong skills as an outboard engine mechanic
  
  

• Preferred: Certified Divemaster or Dive Instructor
  
  

• Sailing experience is a plus, but not required
  
  

• A genuine love of the ocean and a commitment to preserving nature
  
  

• Leadership skills and ability to manage a team with a positive, hands-on approach

 Schedule: 6 days/week (Sundays off unless otherwise scheduled – flexible with alternate days off)
Term: 11 months/year (September off)

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Head Captain/Dock Manager to join our tight-knit team of 6 in a dynamic, nature-focused marine tourism business. If you’re a seasoned boat captain with a deep respect for the ocean and a proven track record in marine tourism, this is your dream job.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Serve as lead captain across our diverse fleet:
  
  

• 35ft Grady White
  
  

• Two 30ft Custom Motor Catamarans
  
  

• 41ft Sailing Catamaran
  
  

• Manage maintenance schedules for all vessels
  
  

• Oversee boat prep, weekly restocking, and organize crew for cleaning and upkeep
  
  

• Collaborate closely with the owner/manager and lead the on-the-ground dock operations
  
  

• Adapt between vessels and lead charters with professionalism and enthusiasm
