Are you an ambitious and results-driven professional looking to excel in the fast-paced world of bunker fuel trading? We are seeking a Senior Bunker Trader to join our dynamic team at BitOil, managing fuel sales and procurement while building strong relationships with clients and suppliers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Trading marine fuel and lubes on a global basis
- Researching, developing and maintaining strong business relationship with
new clients (shipping, operating and chartering companies)
- Initiating contacts with potential customers via phone, email and other sources
- Developing your own portfolio
- Monitoring the entire supply chain and trade cycle
- Monitoring of market development to identify new opportunities
- Managing risk exposure and optimize trading strategies
- Participating in international bunker conferences (after the probation period)
- Achieving KPI’s and quarterly targets
Skills & Requirements:
- 3+ years of bunker sales experience
- Acquired a university degree, preferably in Business
- Willingness to foster and expand client relationship constantly, cold calling as
a part of working day
- Has his/her own portfolio of clients and suppliers
- Languages: English - C1 (is a must), other languages will be desirable
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Represent the company at trade events for network
- Be ready to travel on business
- Be result-oriented, passionate about oil industry, can-do attitude and business
development are some of the key skills for the Bunker Trader
