We are currently offering onboard full-time and relief positions in engineering and bridge departments. Need experienced engineers and navigators: Chief/Assistant Engineers: must be experienced in the operation and maintenance of both flooded and expansion type, manually operated, ammonia brine immersion freezing systems. Extensive knowledge of fish handling, including freezing, storing, discharging to either a cannery or trans-shipping to a carrier. Must possess experience with shipboard systems, EMD, Bergen, Mak main engines, Caterpillar aux. engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, water maker, pollution control, maintenance and repair planning, engine room crew. Chief/Assistant Engineers Must hold Master of Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 1600 Gross Tons, 3000 Gross Tons upon Oceans or Master of Uninspected Fishing industry Vessels of not more than 2000 gross tons upon oceans.
